That handsome customer became her husband, dad to their two kids, and the inspiration for Grill Daddy. A very good return on a grocery-store shift.

Tabanca is their peppery love child: family recipes, big feelings, and absolutely no mild phase.

So she carries a mini pepper sauce in her handbag instead. America’s idea of “hot” wasn’t doing it. Sharing hers requires a warning and, occasionally, a tissue.

Tabanca is the culture she missed, made for a new generation. The heartbreak jokes, the Reels, the drama? All Pria. The recipes? All family.
